Santa Barbara Location Services is about to embark on our 25th year in business. We provide Santa Barbara as a backdrop for companies filming in this area. This could include fashion or car shoots, commercials or features. Over the years we have worked with and represented some of the finest homes and ranches in the area with absolutely no problems and with extremely positive feedback.
Some of the clients who have used these properties include names like Vogue, Victoria's Secret, Jaguar, Gucci, Ralph Lauren, Mercedes, Anne Taylor, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Abercrombie, American Express and many, many others. If you own a home that you feel might be right for filming, we would love to speak directly to you.
In addition to compensation, we are proud to report that 100% of our jobs have always proved to be a fun and learning experience. We present each opportunity on a case-by-case basis. You can turn down any job, at any time, for any reason whatsoever. We act as your agents and we “handle” everything; insurance, permits, neighbor notifications (when necessary), logistics, etc.
We provide contracts signed by the producing entity – so, less our percentage, you know exactly what you are getting. Income from 14 days a year of filming is non-taxable and most property upgrades can be attributed to being “film ready.”
